Finding Economical Airfares
Are you looking to get away from the winter blahs and travel somewhere warm? Even with the economy the way it is, we still want to get away from the snow and cold; so, how can we still travel and not spend too much on airfare?
* Compare the prices of the smaller airlines against the prices of the larger ones. I have often found that the smaller airlines offer cheaper tickets. Please note that many of these minor airlines only fly within certain regions although some may cater to national or international flights.
* Do your research first and examine the prices of the different airlines. Visit a variety of websites and take note of the prices of flights on various dates, then choose one that has the right combination of price and convenience.
* If possible be flexible with your travel dates. You can find a much lower price if you arrive or depart on certain dates as opposed to others. Flying either one or two days earlier or later could result in a significantly lower fare.
